Arizona

After leaving Utah, we drove to Prescott Valley, Arizona. My dad and step-mom live there. We were on the way and asked the kids if they needed to potty or stop for lunch, and they said, "No, let's keep going, we want to see Grandpa and Judy". It's true. We went 6 1/2 hours, from St. George where we had stayed the night, to Northern Arizona, without stopping. Jackson was the biggest trooper of all. Not a minute out of his car seat and he was just a happy little camper! It helped of course, that this new truck has a DVD player that magically appears out of the roof. What a lifesaver!

We spent just over a week with my dad and Judy. We adore Grandma Judy and grandpa of course, and had a great time with them. During our stay in Prescott Valley, we drove down to Mesa to visit my grandparents and my sister. The kids thought it was pretty cool to visit their GREAT grandparents, although I'm not quite sure they totally get that.

After a great visit, we were blessed to have my sister Sara, and her son Erik along with us on the next leg of the trip. So, off to New Mexico!
