Queen for a Day

Yesterday, March 26, was my little Abigail's birthday. She's a big girl now, 5 years old. She's getting so grown up! She starts kindergarten in the fall, too. I'm just going to start getting the tears out now, or else I'll be a big basket of sad weepy mama on her first day. It was hard with Jacob because he's my first child, but with Abby, she's my little girl. She's my best little buddy, and my crafting friend. I'm really going to miss her. I'm excited for her, though, she's ready to be in school.

Anyway, yesterday, she was the queen for a day. I got her this foam crown and her and I painted it all glittery. I got her a tu-tu for her birthday, and she wore it and the crown ALL day...even when we went to Chuck-E-Cheese for her birthday dinner. No mistaking the birthday girl! She had so much fun all day being the princess and getting dressed up for her birthday dinner out. It was a fun day!

Abby looks so cute. I'm glad that she had a happy birthday and that she was "Queen for a Day". Every little girl and big girl needs to have that. It's just so great to be pampered.

Tell her we love and miss her!!

Oh, and we miss you guys, too.

She is a little princess!!!! Please tell her we all think she is the most beautiful 5 year old queen there is!!
