Nicknames: My dad calls me Shewa, the Elders in my mission called me Bee-atrice(because my maiden name is Bee.), but that's about it.

Are you taller than your mother or father? Taller than mom, dad is shrinking, so getting to be taller than him.

Do you cry often during movies? Pretty much every movie

What is your biggest pet peeve? When people try to discipline my kids when I'm standing right there.

Favorite make-up products? All my Mary Kay stuff, been a consultant for 5 years, so I know it, love it, love it! My favorite MK product...Oil free eye makeup remover.

What is your favorite article of clothing? I just found new socks, mostly the socks are made for shoe size 8-10 right? I found them for size 11!!! I'm loving them!

What is your dream vacation? Somewhere very snowy, in a lonely little cabin with a fireplace, my husband and some good books.

What was your first impression of your spouse? He was the tall dark and handsome drummer who didn't say much, very mysterious!

What is your favorite “me- time” activity? Scrapbooking or watching a movie, sometimes both at the same time!

What is one of your weaknesses? Sweets, and nagging my kids and my husband

What do you fix for dinner when there’s nothing to fix? Ramen, but actually the kids love it so I fix it a lot. They always like to practice with their chopsticks.

If you could live in a different decade/era which one would it be? Other than being in a time that was very challenging for women, I love the era of Jane Austen in England.

Do you consider yourself outgoing? Depends.

What is something you are constantly working on? Losing weight of course, it's a constant battle for me. I also have a hard time planning ahead for dinner time.

Any hidden talents? I love to write. Sometimes in my head, I write a novel about things going on in my life.

What is a word or phrase you overuse? Right! You know?

What is the worst thing that happened to you this past year? I can't say I've had much bad, not compared to some of my loved ones. I did leave my lovely friends in Japan, though.

What is the best thing that happened to you this past year? Got to see all my family again after 4 years.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish this year? My weight loss goal...20 lbs., and get caught up on my scrapbooks!

The best piece of advice you learned this past year? Those who are spiritually fed and filled don't need material things as much.
