Christmas

It's already come and gone. I never love the day after Christmas because it means a whole year until the next one. We had a wonderful weekend before Christmas. We made a million sugar cookies and got out the colorful frosting. We ate way too many! The kids got up on Christmas morning around 6:30 am. Not too bad. Poor Jackson has had a fever for a few days and was up with a very hot fever on Christmas morning. He seemed okay once the Tylenol hit, though. The kids got MP3 players. They love them and have been going around the house singing at the top of their lungs. Often different songs. It's quite a concert around here! Jackson got a ginormous bag of mega blocks. He's had fun with those, but we caught him laughing like crazy yesterday when he was playing blocks. Jacob was acting like Godzilla and destroying the block towers and Jackson was just laughing so hard. It was adorable. David got "Chuck's". Converse sneakers. He's been wearing them around the house since Christmas morning. I got my fuzzy pink slippers, cozy! We had a great day enjoying each other and playing with our loot and watching movies. We're so grateful for everything!
