David started his winter leave on Friday and Jacob's break started on Friday, too. It's been nice to have nothing to do! On Saturday, David had to drive a friend to the airport near Providence, so we all went and decided to make a day out of it. We decided to go the Children's Museum in Providence. The kids had a blast, and so did David! What a fun, educational place! We really enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite was the water room, though. We all came out pretty soaked! We drove back to Newport and went to dinner at the Newport Creamery. The kids really love the Crazy Vanilla ice cream. David said, "That's not vanilla." The kids, "yes it is, try it!" It was a fun family day. We got lost in Providence of course, but what else is new, when I'm navigating, it's a given that we get lost....why me? :)
