Walking in a winter wonderland

The kids are going crazy over the snow. It's been so fun to watch them get excited about playing in it. Even though it's still REALLLLLLY cold, they had to get out and play in the white stuff. We got a great storm on Friday and by this afternoon, we had about 9 inches of snow. It's just so beautiful! Our tree is up and lit every night, and it's lovely! I love Christmas. This year we plan to stay at home, be lazy, enjoy each other and play in the snow. I hope everyone is having a wonderful and blessed holiday season. Merry Christmas!

You cannot buy for them the joy that a big snowstorm brings. It is just magical! What fun it looks like they'll be having this Christmas!

I don't think there is anything prettier than Christmas lights reflecting off new snow! It's one of my absolute favorite things. Congrats on the great snowfall. My boys would love to come and play with you guys in it! :D

Alexis is the same way....when she finds out that a big snow storm is coming she always asks if the next day will be a snow day...and when it comes true it's very fun for all of us as we get our winter gear on and play in the snow. Alexis could be out in it for a very long time, as for me and grant, about an hour is our limit. I do love how the snow brings out such excitment in kids.

I'm glad that you finally got your winter storm and are having fun in all that snow.

BTW, where is David in all those pix's. I thought that he would be the 1st one out in it. LOL!!

Love ya-
