I've been having trouble with coughing kids. They're up all night coughing and nothing seems to work to help them. Of course, getting them to take medicine is not fun, and then it doesn't do anything anyway. I was telling my friend/neighbor, Amanda, about my struggles, and she started to say the word Vicks. Well, I already tried that and started to interrupt her when I heard her say...FEET. So, after the lesson of an old time cure from her mom, and my other neighbor confirming the info., I had a plan.... You rub Vicks, or some kind of mentholatum all over the FEET and then put their socks on and let them go to bed like that....
AHHHHHH...sweet sleeping through the night with not ONE little cough. Amazing! Abby has been asking for me to rub her feet whenever she coughs! Who knew?
