Happy Number 11

Saturday, June 27th, was my 11th wedding anniversary. I am so grateful for my husband and the marriage and friendship that we have. What an awesome life he's given me!

My neighbor and friend volunteered to take our kids for the day so we could go to Boston. We spent the entire day at the temple. It was so exciting for me especially because we did the work for my great aunt and uncle on my dad's side. Jean Buck and Conrad Buck were my Grandmother's brother and sister. I've never met anyone on that side of the family because my dad's mother died when he was 6. Her name was Sheila Hilda Buck Bee. She was from England and came to America as a war bride after WWII. She died of an apendicitis just after my dad turned 6. Recently, we found her long lost family and my dad and his brother have actually made several trips to England. After 50 years of not knowing anything about this part of the family in England, we now have dates, places, and NAMES. It's been so incredible to learn about our family.

So, what a great way to spend our anniversary, in the temple, doing work for my family members. Can't wait to see what year twelve brings!
