Snow, glorious Snow!
Although I was born in Flagstaff, Arizona, home of the Snow Bowl, I am a desert baby. I grew up in the Eastern plains of New Mexico. We did get snow there, twice. It gets cold in the desert, sometimes. So, when I moved to Denver, CO right out of high school, it was a joke to me. Snow? How do I live in snow? Denver brought cold, snow and two car accidents on ice. Then I moved to Logan, Utah. I still couldn't drive in the snow, but in the Cache Valley mountains, there is nothing more beautiful than a snow storm. Well, now, we live in Middletown, Rhode Island. We have had more snow this winter, so far, than I can remember my whole life. We've had about 18 inches combined, so far. I love it! It's beautiful and makes the whole place look enchanting. A few things I don't like about snow...whenever the kids come in from playing, everything is wet and soggy and has to be layed out to dry all over the house; it's kind of a pain to bundle everyone up to go anywhere, and...the truck is a mess, inside and out. Other than those things, I love the snow. Yesterday, the kids were out of school, so we went outside to play in the snow. We bundled up real good and went out for about 2 hours. Jackson only lasted 20 minutes. The snow was just to deep, he could hardely walk around, he just kept fallng. Anyway, here are some pics. Let it snow some more!

We love the snow, too! It's nice to hear another desert rat appreciates the seasons! :D Jackson will like it more next year, probably. Caleb couldn't walk last year and does sooo much better this year. Although he'd still rather organize the sledding trips than participate himself! :D
They look like they are having so much fun!! Ok.. it is now official, I am home sick!
Those are some cute pix's. I love them all, but the one that got me laughing was the one of Jackson just sitting in the snow. It remined me of the phrase..."I've fallen and I can't get up." LOL!!
Snow is fun, but not fun to drive in.
I am JEALOUS! I want to see snow up close and I live near Death Valley so that doesn't happen. Have extra fun for me!
LOVED the pics! I still cant believe how big they have gotten. Jackson looks like a little boy now, not a baby! Such a cutie!!! But girl, you can have the snow! 2 weeks in UT were all I could handle!
