I decided I wanted to learn some cooking skills, yes, I've been married almost 10 years, and I'm finally getting the bug to learn some new things. So, I got my mother-in-law on the speaker phone while I had my hands deep in the dough. I of course asked the silly questions that probably everyone knows; like: "What does yeast do? What is it supposed to look like? What is KNEADING for? Yes, I know, now that I'm an "expert"...giggle, I'm thinking, geez, I'm really sad. Anyway, my mom-in-law is a fabulous cook and knows dough like the back of her hand. So, she loving guided me through, no snickering on her part! It was a success, and I only know that because my husband was downing the cinnamon rolls until they were gone. Hurray! I did it! i'm so proud.... :) (I did Mom's pizza crust, too, for New Year's Eve, tradition in David's family. The kids can't get enough. What a good feeling! Domino's, eat your heart out! :)
