Moving along

We're keeping pretty busy lately. It helps the time to go faster and then we don't miss David so badly. We're almost half way there for this deployment. Thanks goodness.

Jackson has had it the hardest. For the first two months, he cried himself to sleep every night because he missed his daddy. Jacob had a few meltdowns and Abby has had her moments. I've resorted to staying up late and putting off going to my lonely room.

I know it all sounds so boo hoo. Many people I know go much longer without their spouse or have to face this life without. I admire and love those examples in my life. But, I'm glad that we are feeling this way for now. It makes me realize how amazing my husband is and what a huge part he is in our lives.

So, it's good, and we're moving right along. Here are some of our adventures in the last couple of months.

Sandbridge Beach
Easter Sunday

My first attempt at giving the boys haircuts. David said that it wasn't like he would do it but it was okay. Gee thanks!

Building with Legos never gets old. Our Lego "army".

Started our own little mini garden. We've got two tomato plants, green peas, and strawberries.

Jacob helped with a court of honor for two of our young men.

Redecorated my bathroom.
