Because I forgot to get stamps, our blog year in review

An apology to those of my most favorite people, ie..the ones that even care or look at my blog, for not getting out Christmas cards. We blinked and December was gone. Thank you to you all for being our friends, keeping in touch and touching our hearts. Here's a quick year 2010 in review for the Ward's and a look at 2011.

2010 passed on warp speed. When the Christmas tree came out of storage this year, it felt like I had just put it there the day before. I've been super busy this year with the kids in homeschool and the Young Women. What a blessing both homeschool and Young Women's has been. I have spent a wonderful year getting to know some amazing girls and getting to know better my amazing children! I was also blessed to finish my first college degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.

(Jacob and David getting ready to go out to the farm, Tremonton, UT, May, 2010)

Jacob is working on 5th grade books, reads on a high school level, spells on a lower level than I'd like, and plays piano really well (even though he swears he's not going to stick with it). He's also found that he loves reading and has finished Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and a few other series books.

(Grandma Ward teaching Abby how to sew)

Abby is working on 2nd and 3rd grade books, reads on I don't know what level, she reads everything, spells better than Jacob, and is becoming a little crafter (I'm so proud) :) Abby is super excited for her birthday/baptism in March of this year!

"Action" Jackson is still terrorizing the house, barely showing interest in potty training, and gives the best hugs in the entire world. He's excited when he gets to do "homework, too". He loves trains, superheroes, and Nerf guns. He was set back in his action status a bit this year when he broke his leg and spent 5 weeks in a bright blue cast.

David graduated from the Navy School of Music in May and we spent his leave after graduation in a snowy northern Utah (where we've decided our hearts still reside). He's now at Naval Station Norfolk, and serves as the Unit Leader of the Rock Band, "Four Star Edition" and preparing to find his sea legs again. It's rare, and we haven't done it in about 3 years, but David will be deployed with the USS Comfort from early spring to early fall, 2011. The ship will do humanitarian aid and support for several South American countries. We haven't told the kids yet, and are planning to sweeten the deal by adding a hairy creature to our family. Dog shopping has been fun, but the prospect of having a pet isn't my favorite thing to think about.

I am keeping busy with my calling, my family and our business. After seeing my dad get major help with his health from a nutritional supplement, we tried it too and we will NEVER be without it! We've been taking this "powder in a can" for one year and in that year we've not been sick, not one doctor's visit or medicine purchase. We've actually been healthier than ever, I am not suffering from back problems or allergies anymore, David is not suffering from pain in his knees and joints and has lost 30 pounds, the kids are eating and sleeping and studying better and have only had minor sniffles, and we all have pretty great energy! Because of the power we've found over our health with RELIV, we became distributors so we can share this amazing product and company. We hope that our family and friends will be able to read about it, try it and be changed like we have. Please visit the website, www.reliv.com or give us a ring or email if you want to know more. This supplement is changing the lives of so many, ours included!

We're so grateful for all of you and the prints you have made in our lives. Thank you for keeping in touch with us whether through this blog, facebook or the actual mail! :) May 2011 be a "wicked" (that's means awesome in New England) year!

Love, the Ward's David, Sheila, Jacob, Abby and Jackson
